If you want more out of life, you cannot make important decisions on autopilot. You have to put careful thought into decisions that might affect the rest of your life; decisions on what career to choose, opportunities to pursue, and whom you want to spend your life with. These are key decisions that can have a major impact of whether or not you practice Power Living!


Here are the deciding factors you should consider when making important decisions:

Measure the decision against your Ultimate Goal

Does the decision align with your long and short-term goals? Does it move you closer or further away from your Ultimate Goal? Check out how each decision fits into your plan for life.

Evaluate the benefits and the risks

Weight the pros and cons. Make a list of all the possible benefits and all of the possible challenges. Envision yourself making the decision first one way, then the other. Play it out in your mind and try to foresee what might develop as a result of the decision.

Go with your gut and get on with it

After you have checked the decision against your Ultimate Goal and studied the potential risks and benefits, if you still don’t have overwhelming evidence one way or the other, my advice is to go with your instincts. If you do what your heart tells you, you may not always make the right move, but you will be able to live with yourself.

Remember, it is hard to make big decisions. But if you feel that it is an investment in your future, and you want to look back at the end of your life and know that you forged your own path instead of sticking to the safe and proven one, practice PowerLiving.

Tap into your power and decide not to focus on your background or circumstances and instead focus on the life you want to create for yourself. You have the power to make the decisions that will change your life. It is probably the greatest gift you have.
