Growth Question- Facial Hair

Hi.

I recently turned 18.
I am concerned about my facial hair. I have little facial hair and is located only is certain part of my face, like my chin, the sides and a little on the throat and of course on top of the lips. However, this zones with facial hair have very little facial hair that I still have to shave about once a week, maybe twice a week, and it has been like that for the past 2 years.
Every other aspect of my body seems fine, is just the facial hair, it does not seem to be growing normally.

Any suggestions?

Thank you very much.

Whats normal? It doesn't sound like anything to worry about. My ex only grows facial hair on his chin and under his nose, everything else is baby smooth. He only shaves once a week and he's thirty.

Is this the reason he is your ex? I have exactly the same problem as aha and I'm 27. Can't even grow a goatee properly. Added to this, I have red hair which means the little hair that does appear is even sparser than people with other colours of hair. And it sucks because you feel like you don't fit in and nobody is interested in such a genetic freak. They just laugh at you.
There is not much you can do. I myself have found the journey a very lonely one I am sorry for that, but you might be different and not find it so bad. There is apparently a procedure where they remove hair from the back of your head and implant it on your face. That strategy sounds more appealing every day.

Re: Growth Question- Facial Hair

Hi Bruce,

I know it may seem like you're the only one with this "problem" but your not. I'm 30 and although I grow pretty decent facial hair on my chin and above my lip it's very very sparse everywhere else. With 2 brothers and most guys I know having full facial hair so I somewhat understand what you're feeling BUT you have to stop feeling sorry for yourslef and realize that this is not really a problem. There are a lot of people out there who are a lot worse off than you. Imagine having a missing limb or being in a wheelchair or having a terminal disease??...I'm sure those peopel would trade you spot in a second!

Re: Growth Question- Facial Hair

I guess it's all about making do with what you've got. Yes people have given me that line before, but it doesn't help me. Sure there is a small fraction of the population which is worse off, but there is an overwhelming majority who have done nothing except succeed at developing as a normal human male should. I however have never had that chance. I do not feel I have achieved manhood status.
I have heard some people try that Rogaine stuff or minodoxyl I think it's called on their face. Does anyone have personal experience with this?
